The Political Roots of the Christchurch Massacre and the Global Danger of Fascism

This pamphlet assembles a series of incisive analyses first published on the World Socialist Web Site between March 16 and April 4, 2019, examining the Christchurch terrorist attack, which left 51 people dead and 89 injured, as a political phenomenon rooted in the crisis of global capitalism and the resurgence of the far right. It situates the attack within the growth of white-supremacist ideology, the international promotion and circulation of fascist currents, and the complicity of political and media institutions that normalise and enable reactionary violence.
